I’ve upgraded both of my Macs to Snow Leopard now and it’s been pretty flawless in my testing. It’s not a must-have upgrade as David Pogue of the New York Times has been billing it, but it has some pretty nice features. One isn’t really a feature, but Snow Leopard is blazing fast on both my 2.0GHz Core 2 Duo iMac and on my 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo unibody MacBook. Finder is incredibly snappy and the new QuickTime X has an awesome new UI.

I’d check if any of your most used apps have compatibility problems before upgrading, but if you’re dying to buy it, get it today.

A lot has happened over the past couple weeks, or months I should say because I have a bad habit when it comes to blogging. I took this shot in San Francisco at the Worldwide Developers Conference where Apple announced the new iPhone and previewed Snow Leopard. It was a great keynote and I can’t wait to attend next year.

Why don’t we have solar panels on the hood and roof of our cars? Cars sit outside in the sun all day, especially in cities. I know they couldn’t draw enough power to function, but every bit of gas we don’t have to use seems like a good idea.

Combination of tilt-shift and stop motion makes this video really fun to watch. It also blows my mind that this was shot on a cruddy point-and-shoot camera.
